Join the gathered faith communities of the San Geronimo Valley to celebrate our 13th Interfaith Thanksgiving. Our theme this year is “Gratitude for Shelter.” We will sing songs, chant and learn about each other’s traditions around shelter. Very family friendly, open to all! Participants this year include Spirit Rock, the International Association of Sufism, Congregation Gan HaLev, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, and San Geronimo Community Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow, and we will receive an offering to support the San Geronimo Valley Community Center Holiday Food Drive.
Holly Fair donations and volunteers needed Nov. 5 through 8. Holly Fair is fun when you help! Lend a hand to set up booths, serve dinners on Friday evening Nov. 9, or manage the childrens’ games. Middle school and high school students can earn community service hours with clean up Sat. Nov 10 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Call Gen 415-488-1827 to volunteer.
Our valley-wide community extravaganza is coming up soon, on November 9 & 10 – Friday and Saturday of Veteran’s Day weekend. You are invited to share in our: turkey dinner, old-fashioned handmade carnival games, silent auction, white elephant booth, baked and canned goods booths, book nook and more! Fun for the whole family and all your friends. ALSO: we LOVE additional volunteer help! If you’re interested in helping, please call 415-488-9318 and leave your name and phone number.
